Yesterday, I saw it again with my step-son and, man, it was just a real blast!!! It is rather funny to see that even before he got those monster budgets, James Cameron was already able to make some pretty awesome action scenes. I mean, 30 years later, the whole thing still holds up pretty good whereas most of the 80's movies look nowadays terribly cheesy. Of course, the story was rather prepostero... read more

A superb science fiction film that lead to one of the greatest sequels in film history. The future is a bleak place for humanity. Fighting against their own extinction a rebel leader sends his best soldier back to the past to protect his mother after their oppresive machine enemies send back a Terminator to prevent him from being born. Everyone knows the plot to the Terminator, it's pretty much a ... read more

"Listen, and understand. That terminator is out there. It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead"

The Terminator is one of the most important motion pictures of the 1980s - it launched the career of director James Cameron, and catapulted star Arnold Schwarzenegger to sta... read more

From Plot to Reality (6 movies items)

"Destroyed By Our Own Technology Not only have we become too dependent on technology, the gadgets are not always reliable. You probably have experienced computers seeming to have minds of their own. I myself have experienced GPS machines being unreliable. Humanity being destroyed by its own technology seems pretty likely. "

The future kind of sucks. (355 movies items)

"Reason for the future sucking: Killer robots have taken over the world, and only a man sent back in time to save it, however a killer cyborg with an Austrian accent, sent to the 80's to kill the mother, of the man who would lead the army, that defeats the killer robots. Year it takes place: 2029"
