Now this is one freaky hilarious film. I love this film because it's so terrible. Jack Nicholson's Andre from France, or as he says "I'm ANN-drey from Fraaance." Goodness his accent is horrible but funny. He plays a French soldier, whom rides on a horse. However in many scenes, the horse changes color..aka different horse hahaha. There's a mute, who can whisper...yea and creepy tombstone/graveyard... read more
Well this movie is an interesting one. It's a dark humor horror movie and probably the most "Poe" one as Vincent Price recites a lot of the poem at the start and one line at the end. It's not one of my favourites, due to it being very slow at the start, but it's not bad overall. I find some of the other dark humor movies funnier too. The funny thing about watching this is seeing how bad Jack Nicho... read more

" The Raven" is a narrative poem by American writer Edgar Allan Poe. First published in January 1845, the poem is often noted for its musicality, stylized language, and supernatural atmosphere. It tells of a talking raven's mysterious visit to a distraught lover, tracing the man's slow descent into madness."

The last of my Vincent Price horror movies is based on the most famous of Edgar Allen Poe's works - The Raven -
unlike the other stories, this one is more of a comedy than a horror tale. It is about dueling wizards and how the raven fits in was pretty funny, although I have the feeling Poe was spinning in his grave - the cast is fabulous - Vincent Price, Pe"

The premise of this movie is Dr. Erasmus Craven is forced to confront Dr. Scarabus after hearing he has taken his wife Lenore's soul. He comes to the castle, with his friends, and finds that Lenore never was dead but infact left him for Scarabus. Now it's a fight to the death!!!
