Amazing film, but not one to watch with

This is an incredibly made film and has a compelling story line. However with many misanthropic characters, it's not the nicest film to watch.

I heard so many good things about this flick so I was really curious to check it out. Honestly, I wasn't disappointed. It is a really gorgeous "Western"(this term actually doesn't fit since it takes place in Australia but whatever...) and all the actors involved (Guy Pearce, Ray Winstone, Danny Huston, Emily Watson, John Hurt, David Wenham ) gave some really amazing perfomances. "To be honest, the only reason I've seen this movie is because Nick Cave is the one who wrote it. So I was quite curious how it turned out. The story is amazing almost as much as direction. Guy Pearce is amazing (I'm starting to like him more and more). Also i like the portrayal of relationship betwen Mike and Charlie. A very very nice western.
