The movie shows the ups and downs of Bettie Page’s life.

The actors are good by my standards.

The script is much too predictable to my liking.

This is still worthy of note if you’re into movies covering the 1950s era. I just felt something was missing to really be an attention-grabbing film.

Drab Bettie

Although Gretchen Mol puts in a pretty decent and believable performance in the title role, the film itself is a drab and unsatisfying portrait of a life that could definitely not be accused of being either.
