One of my favourite childhood classics. Come on, which kid DIDN'T want to be Atreju, travelling across Fantasia, and soaring on Falcor, the Luck Dragon? A near perfect 10/10, but I have to take away one point because the special effects, great in their time, look fairly dated today, and also lose another point because of the two embarrassingly bad sequels that followed, weren't needed, and ultim... read more

a movie for kids and adults. no profanity or sex, just a great story. I like the role names of the 2 leading boy actors. and when bastian is flying on the dog head and lifts his hand in greatness that is the best part.

" Well, I grew up with Neverending Story. I cried when the horse drowned in quick sand and, yep, I had a major crush on Atreyu. My dream was to live in the Ivory Tower (you know, without all the weird and creepy stuff going on) to lounge in my seashell bed all day with a white dress and a gorgeous headpiece like the infant empress. This is a classic but if they do the right thing, and keep to the oringinal and bring more magic it might be good."
