This is a story about a man who does something great, without ever taking credit for it. The animation, the integrity of the character, and the humanism of the film is awe-inspiring."

Allegoria on yksinkertainen ja romanttinen, mutta tarina on kuitenkin kaunis, ja elokuvan ihastuttava animaatiojälki tukee sitä. On vaikea kuvitella kuka voisi olla elokuvan sanoman kanssa erityisen eri mieltäkään, ellei sitten koe yleistä pahaa oloa asioista ja ole muutenkin joku nihilistispede. Alison Snowden was back, teaming up with David Fine for the sweetly simple love story 'George and Rosemary', about an elderly man who is trying to pluck up the courage to ask out the woman across the street.
