Jarmusch goes deep into the arthouse cinema. Lone Man, acted by great french actor Isaach De Bankolé, is a assassin who is always in control of his life. Then on a mission he meets various people and entounters situations where art (in some form) is present. In the end he strangles an american business man (representing greed) with a guitar string. Movie isn't subtle with its message but the movie works. Movie was great fun but it asks a lot from it's viewer. "

Eleetön ja paljon toistoa sisältävä elokuva, joka kuitenkin onnistuu pitämään otteessansa. Päähenkilö jää suurinpiirtein täydeksi mysteeriksi, kuin myös koko ajan toistetut repliikit. Silloin tällöin jatkuvat saman toistot, tosin alkavat puuduttaa ja syömään elokuvan tehoa, mutta toisaalta taasen elokuvan voima koostuu juuri noista elementeistä, joten uusintakatelun voisi suorittaa ja katsoa sitten antaako kaksi vai neljä tähteä."

Ei ollut ihan odotettua tylsyyskuolemaa. Enemmänkin sellainen ihan ok-tason fiilistely, joka kaatuu yliyrittämiseen ja mukajärkeilyyn - katsokaa nyt vaikka se Tilda Swintonin kohtaus niin tajuatte mitä tarkoitan. Hidastukset eivät toimi, mutta Christopher Doylen kuvaus on muuten ihan komeaa ja Paz De La Huertaa oli mukava nähdä. "
