Description

This is an amazing film. The idea seems completely original and inventive and is beautifully acted by an excellent cast. Even the accompanying music is fantastic, at times it adds a whole new dimension to the film. Bill Murray plays a desperate marine documentary maker who barely keeps himself together on board his ship. He just about manages to keep the faith of his team during a difficult voyage in which he is chasing a sea creature that many people do not believe even exists. Along the way he has to deal with his new-found son falling for the same woman he does, mutineering crew men, pirates, a broken marriage and a bitter love-rival turned documentary making adversary.
