The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen update feed
Top 10: Sean Connery (15 movies items)"I realize that this film wasn't everyone's cup of tea but I loved it. I'm a fan of all things Steampunk and also of Alan Moore's League graphic novels. Granted, the film could have been much better but it was still a fun ride. Loaded with the fantastic characters that Moore pulled from fiction's past and peopled by a cast of actors that I enjoy watching, I was more than willing to overlook it's shortcomings. I still avidly await a sequel. "
10 Movies that should have had sequels (10 movies items)"One of the coolest ideas in the history of mankind...Alan Moore gets the wild idea to take various characters out of literature and band them together into a Victorian era Justice League. Numerous graphic novels have been created by Moore, so there is ample fuel for the theatrical fire. Granted, the original movie didn't do so well but I thought it was pretty sweet. Damned shame they didn't go back to the well on this one."
Failed movie franchises part 2 (62 movies items)" Note: After X-Men was a huge box office hit, 20th Century Fox try to start another movie based of another comic book team. The movie had potential, but the movie end up failing. The movie was so bad that both Stephen Norrington (the director) and Sean Connery end up retiring. "
Juoni on melko vammaista hollyhuttua, jossa etenkin lopun kliimaksi on aivan tappotylsä. Varmaan taas kymmenen vuoden päästä katson tämän, ikään kuin uutena elokuvana, koska sen verta unohdettavaa paskaa oli jälleen kerran kyseessä."
