I think this movie had a lot of potential but it fell far short of it. It really didn't do anything for me which is a shame because I was looking forward to it. A lot of the actors weren't up to scratch and I think that was more due to the fact that they weren't suited to their roles rather then being bad actors. Director: Doug Lefer Thoughts: Not brilliant but an enjoyable enough adventure melding the Arthurian myth with the legend of the 9th Legion of Rome. Too many cliches but watchable with many fine actors too. Watch again?: Whilst I wouldn't avoid it, I wouldn't particularly seek it out again. "

"1.2.2013 From the moment this started, you could see how it was just some seriously toned down Rome, basically. Like that show made for children. Kevin McKidd was in this after all and looked like he wanted nothing to do with the whole thing. You could also spot a bunch of Game of Thrones-actors in different roles and just wonder that what the hell are they doing in this all. And this goes without saying, but Colin Firth is unconvincing. "

"11/23/2012 I had never heard of this film before and stumbled upon it while channel surfing. It sounded interesting and was; though I must say I did not think it over-special. I was surprised to see Aishwarya Rai in this film playing (magnificently, I might add) a warrior. Her dance experience served her well in this part and she looked beautiful, as usual. I would recommend it simply because of her honestly but without her inclusion, I would have found it average. "

An average movie

“Even though my expectations were rather low, I was still disappointed by this flick. The story, the dialogs, the acting, everything was rather poor. What a shame for Aishwarya Rai! She is a very charismatic actress and barely does any movies outside Bollywood and when she does, she picks up such an average feature... It had some potential but definitely didn't deliver the goods.” read more
