"It was not by chance that for generations people have been searching for him, and now you have found him. Your destinies are tied, Zuko."

Coming off back-to-back disappointments with Lady in the Water and The Happening, M. Night Shyamalan has fallen quite far since the day in 2002 when he was declared "The Next Spielberg" by Newsweek. 2010's The Last Airbender seemed like Shyamalan... read more

Absolute Piece of Garbage

This film is the film 101 on how to not make an adaptation of an existing source material. I'll just get this out in this sentence: I really, really, really, really despise this film yet in a strange sense, I am thankful to it. After watching this film, for the first time in my life I was absolutely irritated and angry at a film. Before this, whenever I saw a bad film I usually just get annoyed an... read more

This movie really sucks, I caught a few bits of the TV series and I wasn't all that impressed but I CAME AROUND TO GIVING THE MOVIE A chance....BIG MISTAKE. Don't watch it if you are expecting a good movie.

The story follows the adventures of Aang, a young successor to a long line of Avatars, who must put his childhood ways aside and stop the Fire Nation from enslaving the Water, Earth and Air nations.

Commandments Filmmakers Shall Follow (10 movies items)

"Show, Don't Tell This sacred commandment should be important to all filmmakers to follow. If you're a beginning filmmaker, don't have your main character say something like, "My brother is not part of this world, and therefore, is now dead. Because of this, I must now cry." Have the main character learns this news, see the deceased brother, not say anything and have them cry for their loss."
