Description

The Lake House is a time-travel love story that salutes the spiritual practice of waiting. A lonely doctor (Bullock) who once occupied an unusual lakeside home begins exchanging love letters with its former resident, a frustrated architect (Reeves). They must try to unravel the mystery behind their extraordinary romance before it's too late.

If you can keep an open mind, and just gloss over the "Time Difference", than this isn't a half bad romance. The photography is quite nice. I think the thing I liked about this movie the most was the nice peaceful, gentle air about it. In a world where images are bombarded at us 24 hours a day, this was a nice respite. The story was interesting and the chemistry was pretty good. All in all, not bad. Worth the rental fee.
