Since I'm a huge fan of Orson Welles, I try to watch all his flicks whenever I get the chance. Obviously, this one is not as good as his masterpieces such as 'Citizen Kane' but it is still a damn fine picture. First of all, the directing is awesome, there is also a great mood. The Best of 40's (40 movies items)

" The crime gets your attention and it deserves it. It is planned brilliantly and it shows us the real character of our heroes and heroines. This is, by far, my favorite film from Orson Welles. Rita Hayworth is somewhat one of the most beautiful women on the Earth ever and her presence in this film more than nice. Great performance from her and the other name I would like to bring up is Everett Sloane as Mr. Bannister."
