There's a scene in "The Lady Eve" during which a fully clothed Barbara Stanwyck philosophizes while stroking Henry Fonda's hair. Without any nudity, dirty talk, or simulated sex, it is one of the sexiest scenes in movie history."
"The Lady Eve is especially gifted in its writing, aided by Preston Sturges' poetic wit. However, it remains largely flat and uninteresting throughout its duration. I especially have major problems with its ending, which seemed illogical and thrown together. Nonetheless, Barbara Stanwyck and Henry Fonda are both totally wonderful together.
