The Kingdom presents a very real view on cultural differences and highlights how people are fundamentally alike than they are different. The performances are all top notch but my favorite was the actor who played the character of Colonel Faris Al Ghazi, the FBI team's guide and guard during their time in Saudi Arabia. "Home - New Absolutely adored THE KINGDOM, was shocked at how much I loved it. Just a fantastic thriller. I thought the final moment was great. Because you're watching the film thinking that it's essentially about people working together despite their differences, and then you realise that this situation is untenable because despite any progress that gets made both sides are just completely out for blood. An average movie

“This movie is very well done and it can be appreciated as an action movie. What's too bad is that it tries to have a deeper meaning but eventually that's where the movie fails to deliver. Instead of pushing further into this interesting direction, it seems that the makers "chickened" out and decided to remain in their "action-movie" comfort zone. So not a success but still worth a look though.” read more

"Lähi-idässä paukkuu, kun itsemurha-pommittajat tekee parit iskut jenkkiläisten asuttamalla seudulla. USA lähettää nipun FBI-tyyppejä tsekkailemaan tilannetta ja tutkimaan aluetta, jos syyllinen sattuis löytymään. Aluks ei oikein irtoo mitään, mut sit kun pienistä palasista saadaan revittyy totuutta esille, rupee persiissä polttelee. Olin saletti, että nyt tulee tylsää settii, mut tulikin ihan viihdyttävää matskuu. Lisäks tapahtumat oli kuvattu melkoisen väkivaltaisin ilme"
