It's easy to make incorrect assumptions about 2011's Killer Elite, as it comes across as just another generic Jason Statham actioner with the usual assortment of fisticuffs and violence. Although part of the scenario of action to satisfy me, to say the same thing does not come through me. Initially they seem to be a movie but it's not stagnant. Action scenes were not bad either

Killer Elite may satisfy a lot of Jason Statham fans. Even though there are a quite a few heavy-hitting action set-pieces, Killer Elite is a narrative mess that turns pretty straight-forward plot with loads of bizarre character relationships and added “drama” in an attempt to elevate the film beyond a throwaway action experience.

"Watched on: 1/9/13 I skipped this in theaters because I thought it was just another lame Jason Statham action film where he plays the same character once again. Yeah he plays pretty much the same character here but this film happens to be flat-out awesome. Throw in the great Robert De Niro and the magnificent Clive Owen and boom any problems with the acting are now solved. I would of rated it higher but the final act is a bit weak."
