The International is one bleak film. Tom Tykwer is an exceptional director, and this film proves it. The movie's greatest benefactor is it's script and Tykwer himself. First off, the script provides us with two interesting things; the main character is not a regular secret agent who kicks all sorts of arse in any given situation. "November 13 This wasn't bad I guess. The acting was good and it was well-made, but I still thought it felt like your average thriller. The movie wasn't that exciting in my opinion. The shootout scene was the best part in the movie, but when the scene ends then the excitement wears off."
