Rewatch
Of all the Jack Ryan movies this is my favorite. This film is loaded with incredible actors and is also the best submarine movie I've ever seen, too (and I love a good submarine movie!). Baldwin, Connery, Glenn and the rest serve up an instant classic on a silver platter!
It should have won the Oscar that year, as it was far better than Dances with Wolves (and the other nominees) but instead it was snubbed (for all the main categories!) and only received nominations for Film Edi"

The cat and mouse game started between Russian and Americans and also with in crew. With both American and Russian on the hunt for Red October, however one Men was clever enough to figure out the true intentions of captain Ramius.” read more
"My favorite Connery film of all. Scott Glenn, Alec Baldwin, Sam Neill and James Earl Jones round out a stellar cast for one of the most interesting films I've seen. If by some wild stretch of the imagination you haven't seen this film...you should.
