The Truth: Putting the ‘Michael Bay does historical romance’ feel to the piece aside for a moment the script completely ignores certain historical facts.
Mary Queen of Scots was French for a start. And Blanchett looks pretty hot for a 52 year-old. "

I mean, the whole thing (costums, sets,...) really looked gorgeous, there was a great cast (Cate Blanchett, Geoffrey Rush, Samantha Morton, Abbie Cornish, Rhys Ifans, Eddie Redmayne, Clive Owen) and, of course, Cate Blachett was once again totally awesome in the title role.
