A poor rehash of the much better movie version of The Untouchables.
Utterly predictable and it has little in common with the true story that alledgedly inspired it. At times I felt like I was watching a Dick Tracy movie. When Josh Brolin wears a fedora he resembles Dick Tracy and
Sean Penn's makeup makes him look like a member of Tracy's Rogue's Gallery.

I found this film quite good, it was visually great cast did great it just looked great overall. could have done a lot more with some of it.

"06.05.2013 "He'll kill you if he finds out!" "Who?" "Mickey!" "Mickey Mouse?" I liked this film. I don't get why it got so many bad reviews. It was a fun noir film. Sure, it was nothing special, but it was not bad. The cast all did pretty good jobs. Sean Penn was really fun as the villain and Josh Brolin and Ryan Gosling was great as the two main good guys. Emma Stone was also hotter than ever before in this film and that is always a big plus. Overall, this was much better than expected. "

"Directed by Ruben Fleischer Los Angeles, 1949: A secret crew of police officers led by two determined sergeants work together in an effort to take down the ruthless mob king Mickey Cohen who runs the city. Not very interesting, some stupid lines. Action scenes are entertaining. Ryan & Josh are great too."
