Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect from this flick but since I'm a huge fan of Alfred Hitchcock, I was really eager to check it out. Basically, it is one of his very old silent features and, honestly, I took me a while to figure out what the whole thing was gettting at. " Curiosity silent melodrama comedy for collectors of Hitchcock films only. It is a beautifully filmed production but the romantic story where a farmer tries to find a suitable partner is predictable and boringly written which makes this a hard film to sit through in one sitting. The outcome is also predictable from the first second. Hitchcock tries to spice things up with character comedy but it is hard to care about them to be honest. "
