It Still Scares Me

Posted : 1 month, 2 weeks ago at May 17 20:37
I can remember the very first time I saw this movie as a kid. I was in a dark basement by myself. Needless to say at the end, I jumped off the couch and 3stepped it up the stairs to hide in my bed. I still think it is a scary movie and don't understand why. It's not the head turning scene either. I'm used to watching all kinds of horror films, but this one just gets under my skin for some reason. And I watch it every year in October as part of my personal Spooktober Fest. :-)

That said, boy, when I think of the time that this movie was first released & watching it as a kid, I know now why there hasn't been a movie since that has been able to scare me. This one got it all out of my system all in one shot (my mentality is probably still scarred from this flick in a manner that I, even as an adult, have yet to realize). From here on end, all other horror flix are just a step down for my traumatized pimp-ass. Even...Read more

The exorcist is the best possessed movie I have ever watched and the best ever made. It is really scary and also very well made, and it is made to spook people out. It does a great job at that. Almost perfect.
