Dominic Cooper does one of his best performances in the new film by Lee Tamahori (known for titles such as "Next" or "Die Another Day"). However, the film deflates territories in indecision. Being able to be an action film, it is not; may reflect a historical reality, leans a superficial view, having a product before a huge psychological burden, barely delves into the monster or victim.

Don't know whether it coincided that I watched this movie on a day when it didn't "sit down" in the best way for me, but given that I would normally try to avoid movies about drugs and lunatics, and this is a very good mix of both, I don't think after repeated attempts I could give a better rate.. Just not my type of movie, not at all.. It was tiring and irritating almost as much as Coriolanus..
I should have gelded him at birth. "

+ Very interesting story.
+ Dominic Cooper did a great job as Latif. Very good acting.
+ I saw the documentary and the movie is very veracious, they didn't ruin the true story.
- The end is not what I suspected and they changed the real story, a shame.

"I have been anticipating this film for quite sometime. Was it worth the wait? Yeah. That is just a "Yeah." though. Not am overly joyous "Yeah!" I like it. Dominic Cooper does a fantastic job without him playing both main roles and having the film becoming a goddammed joke. "
"Brilliantly pulling off the dual role of good and evil, Dominic Cooper's portrayal of Uday Hussein is incredible. Just watch the party at his house scene and how he treats a family friend. The picture would be too gross to show but he's nuts to put it gently.

Still, not quite sure what to think of this film. While I think that enough time has passed where the film didn't feel quite like a Pro-American War film. There were aspects of the story that felt a little polished. In other words I think the 'good guy' was a little too good."

""The characters in this movie are all about excess. And this poster reeks of it. The guns, the clothes, the regal chair, even the rather obvious bulge in the man's pants. Oh, and if that's not enough, EVERYTHING is coated in gold. A very eye-catching design that drives home the concept of the film."
