"The fifth, last, and possibly most perfunctory and boring Dirty Harry movie, except for a hilarious chase scene involving an explosive toy car.

Thoughts: Well, the last time I watched this one must've been before I knew who Jim Carrey was (a long time ago). I had completely forgotten he was in this. Remembered Liam Neeson's character well enough though.
Loved the car chase sequence.

Rewatch
The fifth, and final, Dirty Harry film is, imo, also the weakest. One would think with the inclusion of Liam Neeson that it would be better but he is given a part that truly doesn't suit him...and Clint, as Harry Callahan, just seems tired to me. There's nothing special here but it is a Dirty Harry movie and it's still better than much of what was offered up in the 80's.
Fans of Jim Carrey might note his cameo as a rock star shooting a video for Neeson's director-character but "

"Yeah, and I hope my last."
I didn't have much expectations for this because some people said it was the worst in the series. It was actually a decent sequel and it still feels like a Dirty Harry movie. Clint Eastwood is great as always and Liam Neeson was good too. Also as a Jim Carrey fan it was good to see him in this movie despite the brief amount of time he was in it. This is not the best Dirty Harry movie, but not the worst.
