The Charge of the Light Brigade is basically just like a warm up version of They Died With Their Boots On. It came first, but the latter is much better. It's another lionized version of history, featuring a bull-headed character who leads his troops on a crazy suicide mission (why do so many of Errol's characters have self destructive urges?) and then is glorified for it afterwards, in this case by the poet Alfred Lord Tennyson.
