The Castle is a quirky and offbeat Australian comedy about a truly happy working-class family, which possesses the greatest wealth of all—a gift for living contentedly in the present moment. Living right next to the airport never seemed to be a problem for them until the airport wanted to expand—onto their land. Their initial reaction is "f**k the airport," but it soon becomes obvious that the airport is going to get its way—one way or another. Even when they have to go to court to save their home from being demolished, they take time each day to nurture themselves with love, gratitude, and reverence.
