James Bourne, is trying to find his true identity and meets up with a French girl who laters become her girlfriend. He can do and know stuff that most people wouldn't know, like he can notice if he's been followed even they are really far away.

Bourne Identity Review

I don't like suspense or thriller movies, and rarely like action movies, so for me to have enjoyed this one must say something. I particularly like the smart storyline. A trained assassin is sent on a mission, during which he is so badly hurt that he forgets who he is. He doesn't understand whats going on, nor does his government understand why he seems to have gone rogue. I also really enjoyed how a civilian gets involved and her reactions to what goes on around them

When I first saw the trailer for The Bourne Identity, I was slightly bemused. There's no chance Matt Damon could pull of the super sleek, martial arts master role of super spy, is there? Well, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the film.

The storyline is gripping and importantly, it doesn't seem like one big camp joke like most of the James Bond films do. Jason Bourne is a much more likable and real character and Matt Damon plays him perfectly. I thought the storyline was intriguing and the action amazing. The car chase was really something special, and his showdown with The Professor was really far more intense than I thought possible.

Great film.
