Overall opinion: Good!(?)
I watched The Awakening with my sister and it is nearly impossible to feel scared with her around, she makes the most hilarious comments on movies. Ristit on riidassa. Böö-säikäytykset naurattaa, eikä spiritismistä ja aaveista tietoa tukuttain ronkkinut jaksa näitä kummitteluja jännittää. Eka puolisko on kuitenkin tunnelmallinen ja hyvin näytelty epookki, joka laantuu toiseen osaan päästyään turruttavan twistailevaksi selittelyksi. Turhia kohtauksia ja alleviivailua tästä lopusta sitten riittääkin, eikä liian monilukuisiksi päässeitä lankoja pysty ohjaaja pitämään käsissään niiden solmiutumatta"
