“Even though I'm not a huge fan of the original "Texas chainsaw massacre", I still think it is a solid and good horror flick. Actually, I don't have anything against remakes and the original concept of chainsaw cannibal killers remains pretty fascinating. A new version with a bigger budget combined with the modern movie techniques could have been interesting. But, unfortunately, like 99.9 % of the remakes, there is nothing added or improved to the previous version. What I really liked in the first one was the nice and slow built up until the violent climax. This time, the built up was slow, indeed, but also very boring and I didn't feel much tension during the whole thing.
