Despite the one or two funny moments, this movie was crazily wrong on so many levels. I like Jack Black as an actor and I enjoy 1 or 2 Tenacious D hits, but I mean this movie is just not good. The F-Word is used like a million times, there are drugs all over the place, and it is just overall not my cup of tea.

Ive seen some bad Jack Black movies *coughs* Nacho Libre* but this one takes the cake. I sat through this movie watching the time wondering when the hell the agony was going too be over. Movie wasn't funny, the jokes in the movie were stupid.

Dont waste your time watching this movie. If you wanna watch a good Jack Black movie go rent School of Rock or Shallow Hal

I have to admit I did laugh more than once while watching this movie, but most of the time it was because of how stupid it was. The basic idea in the movie is that Jack Black and Kyle Glass are trying to get this pick that will give them the power to be great musicians.
