Furthermore, the ratings were pretty good, even Roger Ebert liked it so I thought it could be a nice surprise. Unfortunately, the whole thing was rather disappointing. I mean, it is a typical feature about an outsider who comes in a difficult school. It follows faithfully the rules of the genre but I thought it was terribly uninspired, uninspiring and rather dull to watch. It is pretty obvious that it is not a realistic movie and that it should be handled as some kind of fairy tale (to get the students attention, he just has to turn up the volume, the rich kid who really wants to dance with them,
