"Texas Chainsaw Massacre, killer bunnies, the dude who went to the bathroom for 3 months & aced the test. Totally underrated & nearly forgotten but if you had cable in the late 80s/early 90s, you know this movie by heart. Mark Harmon is in full laid back 80s Guttenberg form playing a PE coach who's forced to teach a summer school class full of underachievers. This film is way smarter & funnier than it has any right to be. Here, Reiner brought the goods.

Carl Reiner is a comic genius (check out his work with Mel Brooks and Steve Martin) but these what you call "mental growth stories...believe in youself and you can accomplish anything you want" (or something??) are always predictable and lame - expecially the ones made in the U.S."
