"This is a bad adaptation of the best-seller The Girl's Guide to Hunting and Fishing. It stars Baldwin as a publishing playboy and Sarah Michelle Gellar as a junior editor. This unfunny movie becomes just plain creepy when the leads eventually lock lips. Most Embarrasing Moment: Baldwin and Gellar's first encounter, where they flirt by swapping saucy literary quips."

“I basically watched this flick because there is Alec Baldwin in it. And, indeed, Mr Baldwin was just fine and delivered a good perfomance. On the other hand, I have to praise Sarah Michelle Gellar for trying something different but I'm afraid she didn't pulled it off, I never thought she was this believable nerdish intellectual character (How many books has she really read in her life? 10?). Furthemore, the plot was very average and predictable and just plain romantic comedy routine which was not helped by the truelly dreadful dialogs. To conclude, I still believe that deep underneath all that crap, there was a decent movie with interesting characters hiding somewhere, unfortunately, the end result was rather underwhelming and the whole thing is not really worth a look.” read more
