Actually the "Stray Dogs " (along with "Bring me the head of Alfredo Garcia") is one of the most controversial films of Sam Peckinpah. While initially starts as a social film with jealousy and erotic passions, later, the baton gets the violence and terror. Excellent direction and performances,especially by Dustin Hoffman while the plot climax as it progresses Time!

Upon moving to Britain to get away from American violence, astrophysicist David Sumner and his wife Amy are bullied and taken advantage of by the locals hired to do construction. When David finally takes a stand it escalates quickly into a bloody battle as the locals assault his house.

"03/07/13 - Judging by the year this was made I'm guessing it was fresh and inventive at the time but I think it being done so many times since has really made it impossible for me to appreciate it. The editing is nice I guess but nothing really made this worth watching."
