A charming little new wave film about the further adventures of Antoine Doinel, the protagonist of 400 Blows.
He gets kicked out of the army, proceeds to work as a hotel clerk, a private detective and a TV repairman. He has a girlfriend (played by the beautiful Claude Jade), yet he falls in love with his boss' wife.
It's a light, enjoyable film but not transcendental at any point. I can see how it must've had a big influence on Aki Kauri"
