I've put off watching this movie because, being not that satisfied with the first movie, I expected it would just be the same to the first or probably worse. Yet it exceeded my expectations. Without the semi-shallow and messy plot and corny script, the movie was (somehow) saved by the awesome street dancing/choreography. My favorite character is MOOSE (played by Adam G. Sevani). True, he's the baddest nerd ever. XD; I haven't heard of him before. After doing a bit of research, I was surprised to find out he's quite famous. I was surprised when he danced in the movie. Damn cool boy. Yes, boy. He's only 15 or 16 now -- 10 years younger than me! ♥ Briana Evigan (she played Andie) comes in as my second fave. It's not her character really, but actually herself. A whimsical, merry affair

This film is truly suberb, as I decanted a serving of my third special brew, i noticed that a copy of step up 2: the streets had inadvertantly fallen into my jacket pocket. I rushed to the nearest DVD player and what I saw didn't disappoint. The dance sequences are fast paced and quirky, and the coming-of-age storyline is tip-top.
From the start of the film, the action is deceptively fluent and polished. A truly exceptional watch.

I'm not realy a fan of these dance-movies, but this one wasn't that bad.

It's light entertainment, just the right thing to let the troubles of the day go away.
If you are into Dance moves/Hip-Hop-moves, go and watch it. There were some decent moves and great Choreography. The story is pretty much the same as every time in these kind of movies(girl gets rejected, does something and suddenly everything is great ;))
At least the girl looked good ;)
