Movie Reviews (part 10) (50 movies items)

" The Ups: It do have the most memorable destruction of a starship ever put on film - especially since its such a iconic symbol. Christopher Lloyd gives everything as a Klingon and really makes one of his more engaging roles in his career. The cast and crew still look good for a new entry in the series. The Downs: The effects and sets could have needed a healthier budget as some of what is shown here is weak and obviously fake blue-screen which is a disappointment compared to the excellent qua"

"The startling, upsetting death of Genesis planet hostage Dr. David Marcus (Merritt Butrick) - stabbed in the throat by a Klingon on orders from treacherous Klingon Captain Kruge (Christopher Lloyd), and Admiral James T. Films and the critics who hate them (743 movies items)

"This 1984 film's few and unimpressive special effects evidently qualify it as science fiction, but the genre it really belongs to is the male weepie: there hasn't been a gooier buddy romance on the screen since Joe Buck took Ratso Rizzo to Miami. - Dave Kehr, Chicago Reader"
