When I heard that the remake of St Trinians was going to be a 'revamp' for the 21st century...I cringed.

Much luck though; it has not been cheapened or ruined at all. The same tongue in cheekiness is there, in the same camp Ealing studios style...the plot has been changed to include 'Chavs' and 'Emos' to incorporate the modern british school mentality.

Honestly, I had no idea what to expect from this flick but since there was a pretty cool cast, I was quite eager to check it out. I mean, indeed, check this out : Talulah Riley, Rupert Everett, Jodie Whittaker, Gemma Arterton, Juno Temple, Tamsin Egerton, Lily Cole, Russell Brand, Lena Headey, Toby Jones, Colin Firth, Mischa Barton and Stephen Fry! Description: St Trinian’s, the infamous school for ‘young ladies’ is once again facing dire financial crisis! The bank are threatening headmistress Camilla Fritton with closure.
