The truth is somewhere in the middle. It's clear intention of the director's cause, and to create a fuss this film and his attitude towards the government of Serbia! They fuck them from the day they born, even when they die! And so the provocative scenes are perhaps the ugliest and sickest we have seen in a movie, in a level that porn scenes look like from the episode of Beverly Hills. And yes,unfort... read more

A sudden call from his former colleague, still hot porn actress Layla, will change everything. Aware of his financial problems, Layla introduces Milos to Vukmir - a shady, mysterious, menacing and politically powerful figure in the porn business who makes Milos an offer he can't refuse. A leading role in Vukmir's new production will provide financial support to Milos and his family for the rest of their lives. Milos is hesitant at first, because a contract insists on his absolute unawareness of the script they will shoot or the dramatic situations that Vukmir is going to put him through during filming. Finally, he agrees, driven by the urge of security for his family, protecting it from the impending poverty so dominant in Serbia today. From then on, Milos is drawn into a maelstrom of unbelievable cruelty an mayhem devised by his employer, "The Director", of his Destiny, Vukmir. Relentless in his attempt to make an ultimate artistic "snuff-porn", the one that has never been seen, using poor people as his acting cannon fodder, and unleash it upon the hungry eyes of the world. Vukmir and his cohorts will stop at nothing to complete his "vision", and will go to unspeakable lengths to achieve it, using even innocent children as props. In order to escape the living cinematic hell he's put into and save his family's life. Milos will have to sacrifice everything: his pride, his morality, his sanity, and maybe even his own life. In a Serbian "Heart of Darkness" where life is cheaper then a candy bar, in a struggle with enemies powerful beyond belief and just as violent and pathologically evil, the chances of surviving are abnormally thin.... ""It is easily the worst movie i’ve seen in a long time. every second is terrible. the dialogue is boring, and scenes go on really long without making a point. oh and it’s sick. really fucking sick."

Rewatch, **** - ***½. It's kind of like this, since I knew what was gonna happen, all I did was wait for the crucial scenes to happen and the reaction of others when they happened and thus couldn't really get so much from this as in the first viewing. The great musical score carries the film ways however and all those raw moments come only after a while and are more emotionally draining than those of many other similar type of shocker-films (even though most of those aren't similar at"
"Day 26 - A movie that you love but everyone else hates
Don't get me wrong I am not crazy mother F'er. But I enjoyed watching this film no matter how fucked up it is."
"
The Ups: It goes further in sexual rawness and darkness than any other movie without ever becoming pure pornography. It feels like the director knows what happen in the deepest darkest souls of men and women and because of that it is a necessary movie.
The Downs: It is easy to become suicidal with these dark themes that goes from incest, rape and extreme violence and it is hard to feel great or happy afterwards. This is not for the weak of mind."

"To have my brains fucked with a crowbar
Maybe I'm a bit twisted person, but hey, who is not? I love movies that make me sick and feel bad about myself for enjoying them. Anxiety is the biggest emotion a film can produce in me, and I love films that emotionally touch me in any possible way.

+ Beautiful visuals. The colors were amazingly good.
+ Great atmosphere.
- Some scenes were just to extreme. In my opinion they crossed a border with the 'baby scene'.
- It's a beautfil made movie, but it is just to horrible to give it a bigger score.
