Last year I had the pleasure of hearing Mike Birbiglia’s standup comic special of the same title, so going into this movie, I kind of knew what to expect. That didn’t lessen the impact of the film on me at all. This is mostly thanks to Birbiglia’s unique presentation: he treats you as if you are watching the film.
Reluctant to confront his fears of love, honesty, and growing up, a budding standup comedian has both a hilarious and intense struggle with sleepwalking.

Yes, this was a nice find. After watching the rather boring "The Trouble with Bliss" I was starting to wonder about films with a 'drifting aimlessly in life' feel to them. So, it turns out that fact isn't just stranger then fiction it is also more interesting."

Funny and quirky and the sleepwalking sure added an interesting flavor to it, but it still felt a little shallow. There is something I have yet to see in a standup comedian, no feeling of true emotional depth.
