For fuck's sake, how come the last ten minutes of this is so great, while all before that is more or less boring? Burt Lancaster is an CIA agent who is wanted dead by his own people. The job is given to a guy who knows Lancaster better than anyone, cat-loving assassin played by Delon. For a 70's crime directed by Michael Winner there is much just standing and talking around by everyone involved, with no real suspense to be had. Erittäin kiinnostava vakoilutrilleri kyseessä. Täs on ihan perkeleen hyvä takaa-ajo, joka naulitsi ainakin meikäläisen penkkiin. Miinusta tulee ylipituudesta, koska jossain vaiheessa alkoi käydä pirun tylsäksi.

Ah kuinka upea elokuva tästä oliskaan voinut tulla jos ohjaajana olis ollut esimerkiksi Melville, nyt tää jätti jotenkin vähän sisällöttömän ja kylmän fiiliksen vaikka sinänsä ihan pätevä agenttitrilleri onkin. Delon ja Lancaster ei kumpikaan oo ihan parhaassa terässään, mut hyviä kuitenkin ja aidoilla kuvauspaikoilla kuvattua miljöötä ihastelee mielellään. Lopetus on kans varsin tyylikäs."
