Saw III

I really wish they would have left "Saw" alone after the first movie. The first one was excellent, with an actual story that was well done. Yes, it was gruesome at times, but it was full of suspense, and left you guessing until the end.

The second movie, in comparison, was NOT good. Despite this, I picked up the third movie the other day, since I have seen the other two. Right f... read more

All 3 of the Saw movie have an amazing story to them, and it is true that we should all appreciate life. Look at it this way, at least you have a glass to fill. “Saw 3” has some extremely gory scenes that I wouldn't recommend a younger viewer watch. In the 3rd movie of the series there are some unexpected twists and turns to the sequel.

Death is a surprise party.

How in the deuce do you get a star from the classic film Braveheart to star in what most people see as a horror movie? Kidnap him and make him play a game, of course! :))) It seems as if the longer the Saw series progresses, the more complicated the storyline becomes. This time, John Kramer is dying of his cancer and asks his protégé to kidnap a doctor ... read more

After eluding the cops, psychopathic killer Jigsaw turns an abandoned warehouse on the edge of town into a gruesome torture chamber. His new protégée Amanda kidnaps a doctor who's forced to keep the evil master alive. Barely clinging to life, Jigsaw begins to carry out his grotesque plans.

Movie Diary (54 movies items)

"The first Saw was pretty good, it clearly took it's inspiration and borrowed heavily from the likes of Seven and Cube but it was a nasty little horror/thriller that while by no means a masterpiece was still a good, solid movie...why the heck it birthed all these damn sequels though is pretty ridiculous. All they really add is more of the same, only with more sadistic torture methods, more gore and more irritating jump cut film making. Tobin Bell is a great and memorable bad guy but all these seq"

Moviewatcher122's 2014 Film Diary: May (38 movies items)

"May 17 "I don't know what you think you know, but my marriage has survived more suffering than someone like you could ever grasp." "Suffering? You haven't seen anything yet." While it is not as good as the first two movies, it is a decent sequel with some clever death traps. What keeps this from being a great sequel is that it doesn't have the brilliance that Saw and Saw II had and it kind of feels like a rehash of the earlier movies. It's a good sequel, but somewhat forgettable."

All my Saw reviews in one list. (7 movies items)

"So, onto Saw III now, I continue to love this franchise, I loved how through this one we sort of got a lot more backs story on what happened before the first Saw, which is absolutely fantastic, I can't help but love the back story more than the gore in this franchise, again I'll say that this franchise is one of the most original movie franchises to date. I think the cast in this were a bit of a let down to the two previous, but i can only get better with the cast in the others right? I have "

I have praised this franchise so much already, and I do fee I have so much more to say about it, for me there is a lot of twists and turns I don't think I saw coming as a viewer of this movie, as the cast are not the best part about this movie, the back story is what leaves me hooked along with the” read more
