Love him or loathe him, you gotta admit that Oliver Stone has a dire passion for filmaking. Sure, sometimes he shoots and aims precisely and concisely, and other times he fizzles completely. Salvador is a fiery and intelligent diatribe that relays a fictionalized account of one journalist's vociferous adventures during the 80s El Savadorean revolution.
