"In 2000, Ridley Scott & Russell Crowe teamed up to bring us the massive Oscar winning epic "Gladiator," so many thought that these two going back to a period piece with such a widely known figure would be a slam dunk. It opened well enough, but soon cooled off, and barely cracked the $100mil. mark. Critics and audiences were turned off by the familiarity of the project, and baffled by Crowe's accent. "March 15, 2013 I don't know what to expect. The movie was pretty cool, but I could not get into the action. I like Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett, but even that was not enough for me I considered this movie as good. It simply was not bad."

"Watched on the 28th No idea why it's taken me this long to get round to watch this, since I'm from Nottingham, and love Robin Hood! Anyway, finally got round to it, and it wasn't the dissapointment I was expecting, it actually turned out really good! Not the usual Robin Hood story I'm used to seeing in the adaptations, but the story of how he became the outlaw instead, which was refreshing to watch. The acting was great of course, I think Cate Blanchett is amazing and I've thought she was cool a"
