I think everyone loves a good twist and turn in a plot as long as it is done well. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and looking forward to the end of the movie. This movie tries to do this also. There is a serial killer on the loose and our two veteran cops (Deniro and Pacino) are right on his or her heels. The plot moves forward and hints that one of our key players is the killer. This plot line is designed to keep us guessing and waiting with anticipation to the end. Well it kept me guessing for about five minutes until I said this is way to easy to figure out. This movie just wasn't great, it had the cast, and we know they are capable, but this movie just didn't pull it off. In fact it didn't even come close! It might be that too many of people had expectations that this movie could rival the performances they made in Heat, which is not the case, and is why Heat will always remain one of my all time favourite movies, because they set the bar so high with it.

Short story, this movie is still worth seeing, just be sure to leave your expectations aside before watching it.

I can not even begin describing how excited I was for this film's release. I was waiting for it for months and months. I was expecting a classic De Niro/Pacino Blockbuster Gem, but it was anything but that. Yes, there were several entertaining to watch scenes, and the acting from both legends was great, with some great original lines, but that does not do this film justice. It was very predictable, and pretty much like most other cop thrillers out there, except this one had many more flaws mixed in throughout. I know I am cutting this review short, and the reason for that is because I am a little rusty seeing as in I have not written a review in weeks, and frankly there is not much more to say about this film.
