"Reservoir Dogs" is truly a classic film not to be forgotten. The story has all of the ingredients of a gem. Seven complete strangers team up to rob a bank. Neither of them know each others names. It seems hard to believe but, for many many years, Quentin Tarantino was actually struggling to make his first feature. Eventually, after many failures, he came out with this and the rest was history. I remember when this movie came out, there was a huge buzz surrounding this flick and I think if I recall correctly it was released for a whole year in Paris in the movie theaters. Reservoir Dogs is a testament to the idea that "less is more." This doesn't apply to the violence, the film is extremely violent from beginning to end, but the details of the botched diamond heist, which the entire film is based on, are conveyed only in the dialogue, except for one scene where Mr. Pink (Steve Buscemi) recalls his escape. “Reservoir Dogs is Quentin Tarantino's first movie, which showcased exactly what kind of a director he was. This movie turned into a cult classic, and if you watch it you will see why. Reservoir Dogs has Quentin's trademarks written all over the film, Violence Blood and a good story line. Yes to some the violence is a bit too much, but this is Quentin Tarantino, a person who does not shy away from extreme violence and blood, but he still writes a good story to conteract the violence.
