At the end of this film I was left pretty moved.

It's a really powerful piece of cinema. I'd only heard a few things about this movie and didn't really know what to expect, in fact, I really just watched it to see how good the soundtrack was. "I didn't understand this that much, but it was a very dramatic. Mind you, it's Darren Aronofsky. I think the cast was brilliant: Jared Leto, Marlon Wayans, Jennifer Connelly and Ellen Burstyn (who in my opinion made the whole thing). She was fabulous! Also, I found the last 10 minutes almost unbearable to watch! My heart broke!"
