"I hear like you see. Like that hummingbird outside the window, for instance."

Ray is a film that instigated a craze of music-orientated biopics in Hollywood, and there's little wonder considering the quality we're presented with here.

Before this film, Jamie Foxx had a limited number of memorable performances on his résumé. Suffice to say, Foxx proved an able acto... read more

What happened to Jamie Foxx ?!? I mean, since he won an oscar for this movie, he honestly hasn't done anything amazing, maybe a few decent flicks ('Jarhead ', 'Dreamgirls', 'The Kingdom') but nothing really impressive. 350 From The 1st Decade Of The New Millennium (350 movies items)

"In one of those career defining moments that most Hollywood actors spend their whole professional life chasing, In Living Color alumni, Jamie Foxx transforms himself into one of music's biggest legends, Ray Charles. Now, I could do what I usually do here with most of the entries in my movie lists, but for this one I'll just that Ray, more than most other biopics that I have given a high rating, the reason I like it has more to do with my personal taste in music. Because as far as all time si"
