What you call hell he calls home!

Pure action from its golden age.

"Sir, do we get to win this time?" It was fate that after the massive worldwide success of First Blood that Stallone would be compelled to reel out another film. Rambo: First Blood Part II casually tosses away the intelligence and charm of the first movie. Instead of a character study it's a simple mindless heartless study of characters being blown apart in creative ways. Of course this is in no way a negative because this is the king of all action heroes with a massive machine gun, a rack or ammunition and one enormous knife used to dispatch the grunts. However, a straight-up heartless action adventure movie is never going to be a masterpiece like the first movie. Rambo: First Blood Part II is a lot more cartoonish and brainless.
