Thought I'd try another Woody Allen movie before it left my IQ. Should've picked something else. While it looks great as a period piece I can't say I was particularly caught up by any of it, due largely to the fact it's simply a bunch of small stories tied together by a connection to the radio in the 1940s. For me it was barely entertaining, though I wouldn't say it's a bad film. Just not something I cared about."
"Another one of Woody Allen's less-regarded films. It does a great job in paying homage to the advent of the radio, and how it touches, not only the young life of Allen, but the lives of other characters in the film. It also has some of the best usage of music I have seen in any of his work.
